A gymnasium transformed into a delightfully lavish chocolate factory. Ladies and gentlemen dressed to the nines with a few quirky accents. Dancing. Amazing food. Laughter and fun. All of these things describe our Annual Auction Gala, but the word that best defines what our Gala is truly about is service. In the midst of celebrating and having fun, we are serving our St. Joseph’s community. In fact, the very reason our Annual Auction Gala exists is to serve those we love so much, our students, by raising funds for tuition assistance. Tuition assistance is the heart of our school, and by making this the focus of our evening, we are in keeping with the mission of our founder, Mrs. Margaret Ann Moon, who believed that no student should be turned away because of financial need.
We invite you have a wonderful time while serving our school as we host our 21st Annual Auction Gala on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. in the SJCS gymnasium. With over 500 attendees, it is considered one of Greenville’s premiere events. This year we are celebrating A Knight of Pure Imagination, and you will not want to miss the classic Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory inspired evening.
The Gala will feature entertainment by some of our own St. Joseph’s students, fabulous food prepared by Soby’s – Table 301, a “Man Cave” with a large screen TV featuring the SEC championship game, dancing, and a silent and live auction.
Our goal is to raise over $310,000 to ensure that every accepted student has the opportunity to attend St. Joseph’s. Every dollar raised will go directly into our Tuition Assistance Fund. For the 2015-2016 school year alone, we awarded over $760,000 in tuition assistance!
We ask that every family prayerfully consider how you can serve by supporting the St. Joseph’s Gala. Whether it’s through becoming a sponsor, donating an auction item or volunteering your time or talent, it is our hope that every family will play an integral part in the Gala’s success!
